Construction Updates
The Main Pool and whirlpool spa will be closed for refurbishment from Aug. 18, 2025 through Nov. 3, 2025. During this time, the beach and food and beverage service will remain open. This work will be executed from Monday through Saturday each week and we anticipate some noise between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Virgin Grand and Bay Vista villas will be undergoing an interior villa renovation Aug. 18, 2025 through Nov. 3, 2025. Please anticipate construction noise during daytime hours.
Service Animal Policy
Service animals that perform work or tasks are welcome at this resort, but family pets are not permitted. Bringing a pet to the resort will result in a room recovery fee. In the event we discover that you have brought a pet to the resort, you will be charged a room recovery fee in the amount of $500 per pet and you will be asked to take your pet to a local, third-party boarding facility.
Please be aware that in some locations, misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a misdemeanor and may result in a monetary penalty and/or imprisonment.
General Property Updates
Effective May 1, 2017, the U.S Virgin Islands’s “Environmental/ Infrastructure Impact Fee” on timeshare occupancy requires the resort to collect a nightly fee of $25 for each timeshare villa occupied by an Owner or an exchange guest.

Transportation:
Car rental services and taxis are available on St. John and at the resort. If you plan to rent a car, we recommend that you do so on St. John, as the car barges running between St. Thomas and St. John are fewer and smaller than prior to the storm. The Westin ferry service is available and includes unlimited travel from the resort to St. Thomas, including shopping trips with taxi service to the market.
Food and Beverage:
Snorkels now offers three meals daily, serving breakfast from 7–10 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner from 5–9 p.m. It is the only operational restaurant on property. Mango Deli has reopened in its original location and offers breakfast sandwiches, light fare and sundries. Villa prestock service is now available online and will be served from Mango Deli. There are many restaurants at nearby Cruz Bay, or if you prefer to prepare your meals in the privacy of your villa, the local markets are fully stocked.
Some Cruz Bay restaurants close during the late summer and fall seasons. Both the front office and Concierge have an updated list of the local restaurant schedules. Another dining option is to take the Westin ferry over to St. Thomas to enjoy its abundant culinary offerings. The Westin ferry you can leave the resort on the 5 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. ferry run, enjoy dinner, and return on the 9:30 p.m. trip.
Dining and Activity Payment:
Please note that all outlets for food and beverage and resort activities operate cashless.
Chemical Sunscreen Ban:
Please be advised that effective Jan. 1, 2021, the U.S. Virgin Islands will be restricting the sale and distribution of reef-damaging topical sunscreen products containing oxybenzone and octinoxate (Bill No. 33‑0043). Only licensed pharmacies or drugstores will be able to dispense these sunscreen products. Use is prohibited unless prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider.
As of Dec. 31, 2019, the importing of products with the banned chemicals for sale became illegal.
As of Sept. 30, 2020, the selling, offering for sale and distributing of products with these chemicals will be illegal.
As of Jan. 1, 2021, the use, possession or bringing of products with these chemicals into the U.S. Virgin Islands will be illegal.

Robert was a great host. Very communicative and check-in was easy. Hotel itself is okay, good beach and decent food. Taxi stand on the premises and just a taxi ride a way from the town and amazing beaches. Trunk bay is one of the best beaches I’ve now ever been to, do not
skip it and get to Extra Virgin for dinner. Daily resort fee of $25 a day will still be due. I don’t think I was aware of this so keep it in bond for your budget. Check in was easier than I expected it to be! There were no issues on Roberts part but I felt like this particular hotel was just OK but it worked out very nicely for our 2 night stay. I was not aware of the extra 25 dollars A NIGHT for some sort of "environment fee". Yechezkel

Beautiful place to stay for our last night on St John. Lots of pool and beach side activities for the kids.
