Before your departure, we wanted to make you aware of the possibility of inclement weather on Hilton Head Island during your upcoming vacation. Based on reports from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the resort is under a Tropical Storm advisory. The management team is monitoring the approaching storm and preparing the resort. However, there is no change to the operating status of the resort at this time.
We encourage you to actively monitor the current weather situation before you depart and check flight status through your airline carrier. Further updates on resort operating status will be provided on this page should weather conditions warrant.
Construction Notice
Marriott’s Grande Ocean is undergoing elevator enhancements that will occur from April 2024 to July 2026. Up to two elevators will be closed at a time during each building’s renovation. Please anticipate construction noise during this time. The elevator renovation schedule can be viewed here.
*Please be inform that there is approximately $50 per night fully refundable deposit, provided you don’t charge anything to your room similar to a hotel.

Robert was very quick to respond with any questions and very thorough with instructions!
The room looked just like the photos and was very clean and spacious.
The location was so close to everything and in a very safe area, it was perfect!
The check in staff was extremely friendly and checking in was super easy.
Definitely would stay there again for any future visits. Robert was a gracious host, and we very much appreciated his responsiveness and accurate instructions. The place was as advertised and very clean! The utensils, pots, pans, etc. were newer and we felt right at home given the conveniences included in this Marriott timeshare.
The property itself is great for families! we stayed with our 2 teens, who enjoyed the pools, basketball and mini golf on premises. The restaurants were easily accessed and the food was good - casual bar fair. The staff was all very friendly! We will look to stay again when we return to Orlando. We had a great time and wonderful experience.
