Resort Alerts:
-The resort will be experiencing nearby construction directly across the street through September 2025. For the entire construction period, there will be a one-lane closure to the main road leading to the resort and a full closure periodically. -Additionally, construction noise will be ongoing from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. You may encounter noise, dust, odors, and work crews during this time. If you have any questions, please reach out to the resort directly.
-The resort will be conducting an elevator modernization from Jan. 12, 2026 through Apr. 10, 2026. During this time, the resort will not have a functioning elevator. Please note there are no guest suites located on the first level. All suites are on second and third floors and will require the use of stairs. Dates are subject to change.
-The resort will be conducting a roof replacement April 22, 2025 through April 28, 2025. During this time, there will be construction noise, dust, odor and work crews onsite may be experienced. Dates are subjected to change.
The resort's parking is limited. There's a PARKING FEE of $12.00 per night for all non-owners. Accommodation cannot be made for large vehicles, boats, RVs, and trailers. Oversized parking is available at the City of Durango Transit Center for an additional fee.

-Coal train stop behind resort leaves some settled soot: owners with chronic breathing ailments may be a bit sensitive to this

Walking distance to all the Snowdown festivities
Positive: Great location to walk downtown Durango Main Street.
Negative: They cleaned the rooftop hot tubs with a beautiful view of the mountains on a Saturday so they weren’t warm until several hours later or the next day when we were leaving. A warning to the guests would have been nice as we had planned a post breakfast soak that day. The Best Western across the parking lot has an indoor pool and hot tub we were allowed to use but it didn’t have quite the same ambiance as a rooftop view of the mountains.
